· Blog

In this brief video, The Climate Service's CEO, James McMahon steps you through the ClimanomicsTM (the economics of climate change) of the January 8th report from The Rhodium Group. According to the report authored by the Energy and Climate staff at Rhodium:

After three years of decline, US carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions rose sharply last year. Based on preliminary power generation, natural gas, and oil consumption data, we estimate emissions increased by 3.4% in 2018. This marks the second largest annual gain in more than two decades — surpassed only by 2010 when the economy bounced back from the Great Recession.

What does this sudden surge mean for you financially? What does it mean for your business and investments? Clocking in at just under 1-minute and 45-seconds, James breaks it down.
